The Child Learning Center at the University of Colorado Boulder
The Child Learning Center is an inclusive early childhood learning setting at the Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences Department at CU Boulder. The Child Learning Center, affectionately known as the CLC, has been a resource for our community for over forty years, providing intervention services for children with needs along with their typical peers in a play-based educational setting. There are several CLC programs that are applicable listed below.
CLC Toddler Group & CLC Preschool
Partners closely with families to address family priorities for their children and share strategies to support child development. Graduate clinicians, supervised by a certified speech-language pathologist, provide support for communication development. They have an early childhood special educator as the preschool teacher and an occupational therapist consult for both Toddler Group and Preschool. Tuition is comparable to other early childhood programs and as a RiteCare Site many families of children with needs receive partial scholarships from the Scottish Rite Foundation.
